- 3. Choose 1 image, 2 or 4 variations, optionally enter a seed, then click 🎨 Generate. Images appear one by one, usually in 20–60 seconds each.
- 4. Click ⬇ Download under the image you like, or Reuse seed to lock that result’s seed and refine the prompt for a similar image.
💡 Tip: Better prompts = better images. Mention the subject, style, mood, lighting and colors. Add words like “highly detailed, 4k” for sharper results.
Frequently asked questions
Is this AI image generator really free with no sign-up?
Yes. There is no account, no credit system and no watermark added by GrabCast. Images come from a free cloud service (the FLUX model via Pollinations), which adds a small credit mark and can slow down when busy, so each image can take 20–60 seconds and may need a retry.
Where does my image prompt go when I generate a picture?
Image generation is not done in your browser. Your prompt, size and seed are sent to Pollinations’ image service to create the picture. If you click Enhance prompt, your idea is first sent to our AI server, which forwards it to an AI provider to rewrite it. Avoid putting private or personal details in prompts.
How do I write a good prompt for an AI image generator?
Name the main subject, the setting, the lighting, the mood and the camera or art medium, for example “a golden retriever astronaut above Earth, cinematic lighting.” If you only have a rough idea, type it and click Enhance prompt; it rewrites it into one detailed prompt of up to about 55 words.
How do I get the same AI image again, or a close variation?
Every result shows its seed number. Click Reuse seed to put it in the Seed box, then generate again with the same prompt to get a very similar picture, or tweak a few words to change details while keeping the overall composition. Leave Seed empty for a random result each time.
Why is the AI image generator slow or saying the service is busy?
The images are made by a free shared cloud service that limits parallel requests, so variations are created one at a time. Each one usually takes 20–60 seconds; if the service is overloaded the tool retries up to three times and then shows a Try this one again button.
What size and file format are the generated AI images?
Sizes follow the aspect ratio you choose: 1024×1024 for 1:1, 1344×768 for 16:9, 768×1344 for 9:16, 1152×864 for 4:3 and 864×1152 for 3:4. The actual pixel size is shown under each image, and the Download button saves it as a JPG file.
