Frequently asked questions

Is the email signature generator free?

Yes. It is free with no sign-up and adds no branding or watermark to your signature. You can create as many signatures as you like, for example one for each team member or each email account.

Is the information I enter in the email signature generator stored?

No. The signature is built in your browser and copied to your clipboard; nothing you type is sent to our server or saved. If you add a logo URL, the image is loaded from the address you provide, not uploaded to us.

How do I add an HTML email signature in Gmail?

Click Copy signature, then open Gmail, click the gear icon, choose See all settings and scroll to Signature. Create a new signature, paste into the box, and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

How do I add this email signature in Outlook?

Click Copy signature, then open Outlook’s signature settings. In the Outlook app use File, Options, Mail, Signatures; in Outlook on the web use Settings, Mail, Compose and reply. Paste into the editor and save.

Why doesn’t my logo show up in my email signature?

The logo must be a public image link that starts with https and ends in a file like .png or .jpg, not a file on your computer. Some recipients’ email apps also block images until they choose to display them, which is normal.

Will my email signature look the same in every email app?

The signature uses a simple HTML table with inline styles and Arial, which most email apps, including Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, display reliably. The phone, email and web icons are emoji, so they may look slightly different across devices.
