Frequently asked questions
Is Organize PDF free, and is there a page limit?
Yes, it’s free with no watermark or account. There’s no fixed page limit; since everything runs in your browser, very large PDFs with hundreds of pages depend on your device’s memory and may take a while to show thumbnails.
Is my PDF uploaded when I reorder or delete pages?
No. Thumbnails are rendered with pdf.js and the new PDF is built with pdf-lib, both in your browser, so your document never leaves your device. The helper libraries themselves are downloaded when the tool first loads.
How do I rearrange pages in a PDF?
Drop the PDF in, then drag each page thumbnail to its new position; the page numbers update as you go. When the order looks right, click ✅ Apply & download. Use ⇅ Reverse to flip the whole order, such as for a document scanned back to front.
How do I delete pages from a PDF?
Click the red ✕ under each page you want to remove; it disappears from the grid and won’t be included in the downloaded file. Your original file isn’t changed, so you can click Start over if you remove the wrong page.
Can I rotate a sideways page in a PDF and save it?
Yes. Click ↻ under any page to turn it 90° clockwise, and click again for 180° or 270°. Use ↻ Rotate all for the whole document. The rotation is saved in the downloaded PDF, so the pages open the right way up in any PDF reader.
Does organizing a PDF change its quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new file as they are, without re-compression, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality. The thumbnails are only low-resolution previews. Password-protected or damaged PDFs may not open.
