Free · No sign-upHow to build your resume
- 1. Click Load example to see a finished resume, or start typing — the preview on the right updates as you go.
- 2. Add each job with its title, company, dates and one achievement per line. Lead with a verb and a number (“Cut onboarding drop-off 31%”).
- 3. Pick a template (Modern, Classic or Compact), paper size and accent color. The status line tells you if it still fits on one page.
- 4. Click Download PDF. Use Copy plain text for application forms, and Backup (.json) to keep an editable copy.
💡 Tip: Keep bullet descriptions action-led and quantified (e.g. “Grew signups 40%”). A single clean column reads best for recruiters and ATS software.
Frequently asked questions
Is this resume builder really free?
Yes. Every template, the PDF download and the plain-text copy are free, with no account, no watermark and no paywall at the download step.
Are the resumes ATS-friendly?
Yes. Every template is a single column with real, selectable text and standard headings (Summary, Experience, Education, Skills), which applicant tracking systems parse most reliably. There are no tables, text boxes or images.
US Letter or A4 — which should I use?
Use US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) for jobs in the United States and Canada, and A4 for the UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia. You can switch at any time; the layout reflows automatically.
Can I write my resume in another language?
Yes. If your text contains characters outside basic Latin — Vietnamese, Polish, Czech, Greek, Cyrillic and more — the builder switches to the open-source Noto font so every accent prints correctly.
Is my resume saved?
Your draft autosaves in this browser only, so you can close the tab and come back. It is not uploaded anywhere. Use Backup (.json) to move it to another device, and Restore to load it again.
How long should my resume be?
One page for most people with under 10 years of experience; two pages is fine for senior roles. The status above the preview shows the page count and how full the page is.
