- Generate. The free AI writes a first draft in a few seconds.
- Read and check it. Check names, dates and places. AI drafts can be wrong, so edit before you send.
- Copy the text. Copy the draft and paste it into your email app.
How to use AI Writer & Summarizer
- 1. Open the mode menu and pick a task: Write about a topic, Summarize text, Paraphrase / reword, Improve & fix grammar, Brainstorm ideas or Write a reply / email.
- 2. Type your topic in the text box, or paste the article, notes or message you want summarized, reworded, corrected or answered.
- 3. Click Generate. The AI writes the result in a card below, usually within a few seconds; if the free service is busy, wait a moment and try again.
- 4. Read the draft, then press Copy on the result card and paste it into your doc, email or post. Edit facts and tone before you publish.
💡 Tip: Give the AI context. For summaries, paste the full text; for replies, paste the original message so the tone matches.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI Writer free, and is there a daily limit?
Yes, it is free with no sign-up. To keep the shared AI fair, our server allows about 12 AI requests per minute and 300 per day from one IP address, and each prompt can be up to about 8,000 characters. Very long pastes may be rejected, so split them into sections.
Is the text I paste into the AI Writer private?
Your text is sent to the GrabCast server, which passes it to an AI provider (Groq, or Pollinations as a backup) to write the result. If our server is slow, your browser may also send it straight to Pollinations. Replies are cached in memory for about 30 minutes, so avoid pasting confidential data.
How do I summarize a long article with AI for free?
Choose Summarize text, paste the article and click Generate. The AI returns a few concise bullet points. For very long pieces, paste one section at a time and summarize each, since prompts are capped at roughly 8,000 characters including the instruction.
Can the AI Writer fix grammar without changing my meaning?
Pick Improve & fix grammar. The tool asks the AI to correct spelling and grammar, keep your original meaning and return only the improved text. Always reread the output, because AI can occasionally change a word or nuance you wanted to keep.
Can I use the AI Writer to draft an email reply?
Yes. Select Write a reply / email, paste the message you received plus a note on what you want to say, then click Generate. You get a ready-to-edit draft you can copy into Gmail, Outlook or any other mail app.
What format does the AI Writer output, and can I publish it as is?
The result is plain text you copy with one click, so it pastes cleanly into Google Docs, Word, email or a CMS. AI writing can contain mistakes or outdated facts, so check names, numbers and claims before you publish or send it.
