Are my PNG files uploaded when converting to JPG?
No. Images are converted by your browser’s canvas on your device. If you add HEIC photos or TIFF files, a decoding library for that format is downloaded to your browser to read them, and a ZIP library loads when you download all files; your images are never uploaded.
What happens to the transparent background when I convert PNG to JPG?
JPG doesn’t support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the Background color you choose, white by default. Pick black or any brand color with the color picker, and the preview updates automatically before you download.
How do I convert PNG to JPG without losing quality?
Set the Quality slider high, around 90–100%, for the sharpest result. The default of 88% keeps images looking nearly identical while making files much smaller. Each card shows the new size and percentage change, so you can adjust the slider and compare instantly.
Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG with this tool?
